FIU Summer Move-In
This shirt designed for FIU’s Summer 2024 move-in event features a bold illustration of our beloved mascot, the panther, embodying the spirit of our university community. This unique design not only celebrates our school pride but also signifies the start of an exciting new chapter for everyone joining the FIU family. It’s a wearable symbol of our shared enthusiasm and commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. The shirts will undoubtedly become cherished mementos, reminding students of the special moments and connections forged during their time at Florida International University.
Shown above are the initial sketches I made for the panther illustration. I adjusted the panther's color from bright orange to a more subdued beige to align with the overall look of the shirt. Additionally, I softened the panther's ears, making them less pointed to achieve a friendlier and more welcoming appearance. Through several design iterations I modified the illustration to create a visually appealing and meaningful design that embodies school spirit for the FIU community.
